Welcome Parents and Carers,
During the course of the year, the group takes part in various fundraising activities. This money is necessary to continue to deliver our fantastic programs to your children. Much of the money made by fundraising goes towards the on-going costs associated with maintaining and running a facility like ours. We have to pay rates on the property, insure all the equipment and pay the same utilities as you do.
Parent / carer support is what keeps the doors to our scout group open. We could not operate without the BBQ and den- cleaning roster, and this is because all you Mums and Dads give willingly of 1 day a year to perform each of these tasks.
Throughout the year, we will run fundraising projects to raise money for specific things our group needs. These may include chocolate and pie drives, Father's day raffles etc, your support is essential and encourages the children to give of themselves to our greater community.
All the leaders and committee have volunteered their time and resources to provide an active enrichment program for your children, and it is lovely to see that the parents & carers support the team and help where they can.

The Group Committee Meets on the 3rd Tuesday of Each Month @ the SCOUT DEN @ 6.30PM
